About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Oracle BI Developer/Administrator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Oracle Business Intelligence applications and databases, developing enterprise dashboards and reports, and providing end-to-end BI solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and bilingual proficiency in
Arabic and English
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, clone, backup, and recover Oracle BI applications and databases.
  • Monitor and optimize Oracle BI applications and Oracle Databases for performance and reliability.
  • Perform BI upgrades to the latest releases and configure load balancing with SSL certificates.
  • Administer business models, including physical, presentation, and mapping layers.
  • Develop, publish, and manage dashboards and reports using Oracle BI and BI Publisher.
  • Create and manage data sources, including Business Intelligence Pipeline (BIP) sources.
  • Develop RTF templates, layout designs, pivot tables, charts, and other reporting elements.
  • Administer users, roles, and access control within BI applications and the presentation services catalog.
  • Perform ETL process design, analytics, and reporting to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve reporting, configuration, and performance issues.
  • Develop and deploy scripts using SQL and Shell scripting for automation and system maintenance.
  • Manage BI integration with other enterprise applications, including Identity Management systems.
  • Conduct technical training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for feature enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Generate incident support tickets, change requests, and manage CAB approvals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    6+ years of relevant experience
    in Oracle BI development, administration, and reporting.
  • Strong
    bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English
    (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle BI tools, BI Publisher, Evision Argos, and Oracle ERP integration.
  • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting skills.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and server management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex BI and database issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Recommended Certifications:

  • Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 12c Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP)
  • Oracle BI Publisher Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
    (for IT service management and support best practices)
  • Optional:
    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certifications
    if cloud BI experience is relevant
