Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary students (Key Stages 1 and 2) following the British National Curriculum, fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and a love for learning.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the British Curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning and critical thinking.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Curriculum and Assessment

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and review.
  • Prepare assessment materials aligned with school and curriculum standards.
  • Use formative and summative assessment data to improve teaching and learning.
  • Participate in internal and external assessments, moderation, and benchmarking.

Classroom Management

  • Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour in accordance with the school's policies.
  • Promote positive student relationships and uphold the school's values and code of conduct.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through meetings, reports, and other channels.

  • Contribute to school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school (preferably in Qatar).
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum of England (Key Stage 1 & 2).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6, QAR8,000.00 per month
