Responsibilities

• Perform functional setup and support of General Module in BANNER9 application with documentation.
• Perform functional setup and support of Admissions Module in BANNER9 application with documentation.
• Perform functional setup and support of Student Module in BANNER9 application with documentation.
• Perform functional setup and support of Account Receivable Module in BANNER9 application with documentation.
• Perform setup BANNER9 application as per Middle East higher education industry standards.
• Perform setup business function as per customer business processes for admission, registrar, bursar, records, coordinator, advising, student activities, CAPP, special needs and others.
• Develop BANNER9 admin and self-service interface, menu, functions, custom pages, logos, themes using Banner Extensibility, page builder and groovy/grails.
• Create database objects, tables, views, synonyms, indexes, PL/SQL packages (program and structured query language), function, procedures, triggers, and SQL scripts on the latest version of Oracle database.
• Support of technical and functional configuration including database objects and supportability of the Banner student, receivable admission and other Banner modules as well as other touch point systems.
• Gather business requirements, understand, and translate them into technical requirements and provide solutions to the business process.
• Analyze, design, implement, and integrate customized solutions that meet approved functional requirements and specifications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis on all technical and functional issues with detailed documentation.
• Initiate creation processes to improve the user experience.
• Collaborate with team members in a team environment to extend field experience to different client situations.
• Perform knowledge-sharing meetings with team members with proper documentation.
• Perform technical and functional training to staff (this includes all configuration setup necessary to function required business process) along with end- user/functional/technical guides.
• Support of architectural and performance-related improvements for multiple Oracle technology platforms.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation along with user guides.
• Perform application testing after enhancements, fixes, patches, and upgrades.
• Resolve technical issues related to the code, configuration, and performance of the applications.
• Implement role-based access control security on Banner ERP.
• Diagnose production issues, identify, and implement fixes in collaboration with database administrators (DBAs), system administrators, and functional teams.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical objects that exist in the Oracle applications test and production environment, e.g., reports, interfaces, conversions, and custom applications extensions.
• Administration of Banner security (create users, groups, classes, grant user access to classes and Banner forms).
• Create vendor support tickets for any issues or requirements that need support.
• Create incident support tickets and change requests for CAB approval along with the solution document.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
• Minimum 8+ of related experience with applicable certifications.
• Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) in reading and writing is required.
