Job Summary

The RSA Archer Upgrade Consultant will lead end-to-end upgrade activities for the RSA Archer GRC platform, ensuring seamless transition to the latest supported version with minimal business disruption. The role requires strong technical expertise in RSA Archer architecture, data migration, integrations, and configuration, combined with hands-on experience executing major and minor version upgrades in complex enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Platform Upgrade & Migration

• Plan, execute, and manage RSA Archer platform upgrades, including pre-upgrade assessments, compatibility checks, and rollback strategies.

• Perform environment validation, code review, solution packaging, and data migration activities.

• Ensure all instances (development, test, production) are properly aligned and upgraded according to best practices.

Configuration & Development

• Customize and configure RSA Archer applications including Data Driven Events, Access Control, Advanced Workflow, Notifications, and Layouts.

• Develop new solutions or enhance existing ones as required during or after the upgrade process.

• Review and update integrations, APIs, and data feeds impacted by the upgrade.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct impact analysis, regression testing, and system validation post-upgrade.

• Address defects, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate fixes with internal teams and stakeholders.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, upgrade reports, and change management records.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, database, and application teams to ensure successful execution of upgrade activities.

• Provide expert guidance, best-practice recommendations, and platform optimization insights.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and assist with user acceptance testing.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in RSA Archer administration, development, and support.

• Proven experience executing RSA Archer upgrades (major and minor versions).

• Strong knowledge of Archer architecture, packages, data feeds, integrations, and application design.

• Experience with IIS, SQL Server, XML, JavaScript, and API-based integrations.

• Familiarity with GRC processes, risk management frameworks, compliance methodologies, and enterprise governance practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
