Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman with a strong background in preparing detailed engineering drawings and layouts for civil and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD and related design tools within the engineering or construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise detailed civil and infrastructure drawings, plans, and layouts.
  • Work closely with civil engineers and project teams to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Maintain drawing files, records, and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
  • Support engineers in quantity take-offs and as-built drawing preparation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant drafting experience in engineering consultancy or construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates must be locally available in Qatar with a valid work visa or transferable sponsorship.
