Primary Purpose of the Job:

The General Foreman (Landscaping & Irrigation) is responsible to maintain and develop all existing new landscape areas in RLC. He incumbent will be in charge of implementing good landscape maintenance practices and the implementation / execution of new landscaping areas in RLC – around 300sq km.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 8 years experience in supervising nurseries and/or municipal gardens/parks in semi-arid regions.
  • Experience in Plant taxonomy is required. Knowledge of Spoken and Written English is required.
  • Knowledge of Landscape layout and design planning, irrigation system and general landscaping practices.
  • Strong oral and written English
  • Supervisory skills
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools and supplies.

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma in Agricultural Engineering is a must however, Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering is preferred.
