About the Role

Octagon International Qatar is looking for a detail-oriented 
Accountant Officer
 to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and cost control in compliance with company and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and project cost reports.
  • Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and analyze cost variances.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
  • Support audits and coordinate with finance and project teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–6 years' experience in accounting (EPC/Oil & Gas preferred).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
