Job Summary:

Oryxi Maintenance Services is urgently seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in Fire Fighting Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, supervision, installation, and maintenance of firefighting systems in compliance with QCDD standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare design drawings, technical submissions, and documentation related to firefighting systems, Supervision, Handling Pre and QCDD Inspections.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning and Handling Pre and QCDD Inspections at project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with QCDD regulations and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and verify project plans, materials, and workmanship for quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support to project teams during design and implementation.
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the Fire Fighting field within Qatar.
  • Must hold a valid UPDA Mechanical Engineer (Grade 3) certification.
  • Must have a valid QCDD Fire Fighting Engineer approval/certification.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA, QCDD, and local authority standards.
  • Qatar Drivers Licence with own car.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Available to join immediately (preferred).

Compensation:

  • Total Package: QAR 8,000 – 10,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
