VAM
Systems is currently looking for System
Administrator for
our
Qatar
operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill
Set required:

  • Minimum
    of eight 8 years of experience engineering solutions and
    instrumentation for EMC, Hitachi and Axiom Pillar Storage Area
    Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and
    databases

  • 8
    years Experience with Linux Red Hat, RHCE will be an advantage

  • EMC
    and NetBackup backup product strong experience is required

  • Hand
    on experience with VMware technologies, VMware Certified
    Professionals is a plus

  • Should
    have extensive technical knowledge and experience in operational
    maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of
    critical Storage Area Networking (SAN)

Key
Responsibilities:

  • Design,
    deploy, configure, and maintain Brocade SAN switches.

  • Linux
    servers infrastructure administration and performing operational
    support activities (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching,
    troubleshooting, performance tuning)

  • Oversee
    EMC Networker and Veritas NetBackup infrastructure to ensure that
    best practices and in place and the infrastructure is optimized for
    performance and reliability

  • Work
    with the team to restructure the existing backup infrastructure and
    set a strategic plan for disaster recovery.

  • Provide
    technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, and
    implementation of VMware products and services.

Terms
and conditions:

Joining
time frame: 30 days.

The
selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall
be deputed to one of the leading Govt Organizations in Qatar.
