Job Description:

  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Manage and ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of all corporate tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax filings. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize tax benefits.
  • Analyze tax implications of business decisions and provide guidance to management.
  • Tax Research and Interpretation: Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance on their implications for the company.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Audit Support: Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Coordinate responses, gather required documentation, and represent the company in discussions with tax authorities.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.

Job Qualification:

  • Minimum 4-8 Years post qualification
  • Must be qualified CA/ACCA/CPA/CFA
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax, including managerial or supervisory roles
  • Should have Qatar local exp.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
