Oilexec is looking for Telecom Commissioning Technicians for Offshore

Qualifications: BOSIET/ MIST/ CA- EBS certification for Offshore work

  • Degree/Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent diploma from recognised Universities
  • Minimum 5-7 years Oil and Gas Industry experience in Telecom system commissioning
  • Proficiency in Telecom system commissioning related software tools.
  • Mandatory HSE Training (Induction, Risk Assessment etc)
  • IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)

Description:

  • To execute Telecommunication system pre-commissioning and commissioning work scope in a safe manner and in accordance with contract specifications /requirements and schedule
  • Provide support to the Telecom Commissioning Engineer
  • Under safe systems of work, function testing of Telecom installations and equipment in both
  • Offshore work scope will require working in Hazardous areas and therefore the candidate
  • MUST be COMPEX trained and able to demonstrate a good understanding of the risks associated with working in a Hazardous areas.

Key Objective:

  • To perform the work in accordance with the specified safety standards / project requirements / work packs
  • To support the commissioning team to function test the Telecom system in accordance with project technical procedures
