Hiring Mechanical Estimator

Salary:- TBD

Duration:- 1 year extendable

Duty hrs:- 9 hrs/ 6 days

Location:- Doha

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate
    cost estimates
    for mechanical works (piping, pipelines, tanks, and offshore structures).
  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify scope and materials.
  • Develop
    Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
    and pricing schedules.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for technical and commercial inputs.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support bid evaluations and participate in tender review meetings.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing information.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Mechanical Engineering
    or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience
    in mechanical estimation within the
    oil & gas, offshore, or industrial construction
    sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of
    piping systems, tanks, pipelines, and offshore fabrication standards.
  • Proficiency in
    estimation software
    (e.g., Excel, Candy, CostOS, or similar tools).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
