Human Capital Directorate invites applications for the position HC helpdesk coordinator reporting to Manager, HC Operations.

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide visitors of the Human Capital Directorate with the required assistance, handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, and perform clerical and administrative duties within the reception area of HC Directorate. The incumbent of this position will serve as a backup for the Receptionist of the Directorate.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will handle incoming and outgoing calls for the Human Capital Directorate and connect callers to desired parties as appropriate and will greet and direct visitors, answer routine inquiries; maintain a log of visitors, calls and inquiries, as required.

The successful candidate will record and refer any requests pertaining to the Human Capital Directorate, and follow up when necessary, receive messages for staff in the Human Capital Directorate and convey the messages as appropriate in a timely manner and will route incoming mail; distribute correspondence and other material to the concerned personnel.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of routine typing assignments, such as drafting basic correspondence, entering data, printing letters, labels, reports and / or other material and will draft letters and handle queries pertaining to the HC Helpdesk, in accordance with the approved University templates, as applicable.

The successful candidate will maintain the general filling system and ensure all correspondences are filed appropriately in a timely and efficient manner and Ensure a clean and well-organized working environment at the reception and will perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education :

This position is intended for a person with special needs - the educational requirements will hence be evaluated by the ‘Director, Human Capital' on a case-by-case basis.

Experience :

This position is intended for a person with special needs - the experience and skill requirements will hence be evaluated by the ‘Director, Human Capital' on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the requirements of the job.

Language

* Fluency in written and spoken English is required

* Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is required
