International strategic communications consultancy – BLJ Worldwide – is seeking a Digital Graphic Designer in Doha to help support bring our client’s vision to life.

Digital Designer will be responsible for creating and delivering a range of design work, this can be anything from social media graphics, branding, animations, editorial design and digital work – web design, email newsletter design and interactive documents. This role also involves managing your own projects and contributing the commercial and creative success of the business and our client campaigns. The ideal candidate would have significant client-facing experience, ability to manage its own workload and contribute positively to the growth of the design team. They will be working with a wider team on a wide range of tasks and so much be adaptable and a team player.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with the ability to handle simultaneous tasks with composure and accuracy within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with other senior team members to deliver quality digital designs as per the brief. Including, creating brand guidelines, design assets and finalizing artwork for developers, etc.
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for digital projects such as animations, video edits, social media designs etc.
  • Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback and implement it in timely manner.
  • Offer creative input in meetings and share ideas with team members.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media and overall design trends.
  • Take internal design requests for BLJ Worldwide i.e. marketing materials, email newsletters, stationery designs etc.
  • Demonstrate team work as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Give feedback where you deem necessary to improve quality of work.
Requirements
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, arts, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Have minimum of eight years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital designs and trends
  • Have a portfolio demonstrating work experience in two or more disciplines i.e. branding, editorial, digital, web design, motion graphics, video editing etc.
  • Have understanding of UI/UX strategy and processes.
  • Be capable of motion graphics production and have experience in animating simple to complex graphics.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, After effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Have strong verbal and written English language skills (proficiency in Arabic is desirable).
  • Have the ability to present ideas and concepts to clients.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast paced work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
