Your day-to-day:

  • Toattend to all colleague's medical needs.
  • To attend urgent hospitalization, doctor’s care, etc. and accompany colleagues where possible or appropriate.
  • To ensure that adequate medicine and drugs are available in the Hotel/Accommodation Clinic at all times.
  • To ensure that all Hotel/Accommodation First Aid boxes are replenished in a timely manner.
  • To assist Human Resources by keeping colleague's medical records updated at all times.
  • To facilitate the medical examination of new colleagues.
  • To visit sick colleagues in their rooms if required.
  • To be available at all times while on duty to attend to colleague's medical needs.
  • To obtain and renew health cards for all colleagues.
  • To ensure proper maintenance of all medical equipment belonging to the Hotel/Accommodation Clinic.
  • To ensure that the Clinic is neat and tidy at all times.
  • To participate in the Hotel Health & Safety and Fire Training Program and respond to fire alarms real or drill in your capacity as Nurse.
  • To provide monthly and annual medical statistics for the Human Resources report.
  • Be a HACCP committee member and actively improve the workplace in terms of Health and safety.
  • Ensure First Aiders are certified and conduct spot checks on their knowledge.
  • To obtain and renew Food Handler's annual food hygiene certificates.
  • To obtain Insurance cards for all that are eligible.
  • Update health cards, health certificates & insurance cards records.
  • Daily filing of colleague's medical records.
  • Handling medical reimbursement for all colleagues.
  • Follow-up document for colleagues in Hamad Hospital and other affiliated hospitals.
  • To forward a copy of the sick leave report to concerned Heads of Department.
  • To liaise with government medical services in order to be informed of the latest medical needs and developments within the country.
  • Organized health checks, vaccination campaigns, and blood donation drives for all colleagues.
  • Arrange quotations for medical services as and when needed.
  • Make careful use of safety equipment, such as gloves, goggles, aprons, overalls, and shoes, and ensure they are properly stored after use and report any damage to the supervisor.
  • Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department.
  • Coordinate with relevant training body in conducting First Aid Training Certified Courses for colleagues.
  • Complete assigned tasks/projects within HR functions that may be assigned by Head of Department

What we need from you:

  • Registered Nurse with complete certificates/license
  • Qualified uder Qatar Nursing license
  • Post-qualification nursing experience
  • Previous hotel experience is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team while setting and completing individual deadlines
  • Able to work in a multicultural team
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
