Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Restaurant Kitchen Steward.

The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, supporting the overall efficiency of our culinary operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure that all items are properly sanitized and stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in the organization and storage of kitchen supplies.
  • Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables.
  • Monitor and empty trash bins regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a kitchen steward or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

From QAR1,500.00 per month
