As a fit-out site supervisor in Qatar, your responsibilities would typically include overseeing and managing the execution of fit-out projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to the client's requirements.

Here are some specific responsibilities you may have:_

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Site Management: Take charge of the fitout site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations as per Qatar Law, and project specifications.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to verify that workmanship and materials meet the required standards and specifications. Address any deficiencies or issues promptly.
  • Materials Control: Monitor, review material and equipment requisitions, and ensure that the project stays within the allocated budget. Report any budget deviations to project management.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, documenting the status of the project, highlighting milestones achieved, and identifying any risks or delays. Provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Supplier Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for the client & supplier addressing any concerns or inquiries related to the fit-out project.

Maintain a positive relationship throughout the project duration.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the fitout process, such as design conflicts, logístical challenges, or unforeseen site conditions. Implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, drawings, permits, and change orders. Ensure that all relevant documentation is properly organized and archived.

  • Handover and Closeout: Coordinate the final stages of the project, including snagging, commissioning, and handover processes. Verify that all work is completed satisfactorily and facilitate the closure of the project.
