Qatar Aviation Services Cargo isrecruiting for Procurement and Contracts Coordinator to be based inDoha Qatar.

Provision ofadministration support to the procurement and contracts departmentof QAS Cargo. Working under the guidance from Procurement andContracts Manager to help the procurement and contracts departmentmeet end user requests in a timely and effectivemanner.

OperationalAccountabilities

  • Gatheringdata required from the internal systems and suppliers for regularstatus updates to Procurement and Contracts Manager on ongoingprocurement and contractsmanagement.
  • Coordinate with End users for therequirements and follow up with the suppliers for the procurementprocess ensuring compliance with QR Groups Procurement PolicyProcess and Delegation of Authority(DOA)
  • Coordinate with End Users QAS GroundHandling Group Legal to ensure Standard Ground Handling Agreements(SGHA) are reviewed approved and signed in a timelymanner.
  • Coordinate with End Users Finance andSuppliers to ensure invoices are processed in a timelymanner.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers and GroupLogistics to ensure ordered items are delivered ontime.
  • Upkeep the Procurement and Contractsdivision records necessary for complying with audit requirements upto date and accessible.
  • Coordinate with groupprocurement to add new suppliers in the QR Groups supplier mastersystem.
  • Work with QAS Cargo administrative andoperational departments suppliers and cashiers team to ensure therepacking charges are obtained and debited to the relevant costcenter.
  • Perform other department duties relatedto his/her position as directed by the Manager /Head ofDepartment.
Qualifications
  • High School Qualification /Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of DiplomaBased on Role) with Minimum 3 years of jobrelated experience.OR
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent with Minimum2 years of jobrelated experience.
  • Ability toexpedite delivery by coordinating with internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Officesuite ofapplications.
