  • Develop and lead comprehensiveLoss Prevention and HSE activities for Project, ensuring allrelated requirements such as philosophies, codes, practices are incompliance.
  • Provide clear guidance to thecontractors and facilitate resolution of related issues to completediscipline activities consistent with project objectives andmilestones.

YourTasks

  • Participates as a key member in theLoss Prevention and HSE activities to ensure that the Contractorscomply with the Contract requirements including codes andstandards. Provide guidance to the Contractors to promotecompliance.
  • Manage the Contractor in the safedelivery of the scope of work; verify and ensure compliance withCompany SHE and Loss Prevention requirements, standards,specifications, instructions and regulatory and environmentalrequirement.
  • Engage across disciplinesincluding Process, Structural, Electrical, E&I, Piping,Mechanical, Pipeline, Risk; understand and communicate therequirements of FEED/EPC design; efficiently translate Companyrequirements and data into an efficient delivery from theContractor.
  • Monitor the progress and deliveryof the Loss Prevention and HSE work scope; verify that riskassessment plans are suitable and include required risk assessmentsand risk workshops as per Project phase and Company Gatesrequirement
  • Assists in the plans and schedulesthe Loss Prevention and HSE deliverables to enable efficientproject execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance withQatar operational policies, standards of business conduct andproject management system.
  • Report progress ofclose-out on weekly basis for presentation to management and ensureeffective communication andcoordination
  • Supervise and solve technicalproblems as they are developing in the various disciplines, and toinitiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Seekguidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manageimplementation of solutions.
  • Chair meetings ifrequired to collect and disseminate information pertaining to LossPrevention engineering actions; advise Management in a timelymanner where issues are unable to be resolved and may impact theproject delivery.
  • Provide guidance and inputduring Project phases for the Packages, Contractorstrategies/procedures to achieve project Integration objectives asrequired; participate in Constructability Reviews, Pre-StartupReviews etc as required.
  • Lead / drivecontractors to timely conduct and deliver safety studies such asQRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, PHA, Safety Case, SHE studies etc. perexecution plan.
  • Ensure approved Loss Preventionrecommendations and programs are utilized by PMT to improve safetyin design and in construction, reduce inefficiencies, and maintainhigh safety standards.
