JOBDESCRIPTION:

In this role youwill get to conduct and support the delivery ofcomplete mechanical designs such as HVAC Public Health &Fire protection system across disciplineprojects.

We deliver railtransit road and highway transportation; water conveyance andwastewater treatment; oil and gas; land development; public; andaviation infrastructure to our customers and communities.

WHAT YOULL BEDOING:

  • Leading andcarrying out complete Mechanical HVAC Plumbing &Firefighting discipline designs to required standards andquality.
  • Carry out mechanical design fortreatment plants and pumping stations to PWA standards and qualityas and when assigned by the team lead.
  • Initiating and developing the concept designs withoptioneering for complete Mechanical HVAC Plumbing &Firefighting systems designs
  • Excellent reportwriting skills.
  • Preparing and generatingspread sheets to carry out calculations.
  • Coordination with other Discipline Engineers asapplicable.
  • Coordinate with BIM/CADTechnicians concerning project requirements andtimelines.
  • Conducting client and projectmeetings as required by the project.
  • Carryout steady state and surge analysis modeling for pressurizednetworks.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatoryrequirements are met in all designs.
  • Supportthe project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) processto the relevant Authorities.
  • Allocatingresources and time effectively
  • Stay updatedwith relevant technical developments within thediscipline.
  • Understand the contract and scopeof project deliverables.
  • Ensure that Health& Safety is embedded into all work practices in line withcompany policies.
  • Provide regular work statusupdates including risks or concerns to Seniors or MEPmanager.
  • Attend and contribute in team andproject meetings as required.
  • Completeaccurate time sheets by set deadline.
  • Take onadditional duties as assigned bymanagement.

WHATREQUIRED SKILLS YOULL BRING:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentqualification.
  • At least 15 years of overallexperience.
  • Extensive experience in designdevelopment.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevantsoftware including AutoCAD BIM/Revit HAP Elite Watergems etc..
  • Must have thorough knowledge of industrypractices and regulations.
  • Excellent writtenand oral communication.
  • Extensive experiencein Doha/Qatar is highlypreferred.
