TheMTM Manager provides technical expertise/leadership for the KalrezLOB driving manufacturing technology (MT) improvement andproductivity programs and supporting manufacturing operations tomaintain production performance and overall process capability. Weare looking for someone who has a substantial background in processtechnology, manufacturing process optimization and improvement,performing complex and varied responsibilities within thetechnology function including project prioritization to achieveoperations and business goals. Also, provides technical guidanceand development of team including early careerprofessionals.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Actas an advisor providing key resources to Kalrez unit operationsleadership team and may become actively involved, as required, tomeet EHS, production schedules, productivity goals and growthplans.
  • Hasknowledge of best practices and how manufacturing technology (MT)organization integrates with key stakeholders throughout integratedoperations, product management, R&D and contractmanufacturers; is aware of the competition and the factors thatdifferentiate the business/processes in themarket.
  • Guidesand prioritizes the process technology and continuous improvementactivities of MT individual contributors accountable for similarresponsibilities and performing moderately diverseactivities.
  • Worksin collaboration with operations; contribute to and executesbusiness, functional, process development/or productstrategies.
  • Impactof work reflects directly on the overall team for quality ofprocess execution and responsiveness to businessneeds.
  • Operateswith latitude for action and decision-making; uses judgment to makedecisions that affect own area of responsibility within thebusiness/function.
  • Solvestechnical or operational problems (with or withoutvague/unstructured aspects); takes a new perspective on existingsolutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiplesources ofinformation


Requirements

1.Minimum of Bachelor s in Engineering or Technology isrequired

2.10 years of Semi-conductor, Engineering Management, DiscreteManufacturing or R&D/Process Development background isrequired for thisrole.

3.Direct line management (will initially oversee 12-15 engineers inthis role) highlypreferred

4.Willing to travel up to 25% domestically to other site locationsrequired

5.Six Sigma training/certification/ statistical process control (SPC)experience preferred

6.Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder.
