About the role:

Oversees a team that seeks to optimize revenue associated with non-aeronautical services being offered at the airport.

Has the responsibility to ensure that HIA's unique vis-à-vis goods and services are properly defined and that the revenue from these is maximized.

Ensure that customer feedback is incorporated in the non-aeronautical offering's strategy for HIA. Provides line of sight on all non-aeronautical development related processes and performance.

  • Develop and execute a nonaeronautical revenue strategy including concessions (F&B, retail, services /vendor) offerings at HIA that enhances the airport's brand, customer satisfaction and financial performance. Responsible for the growth of nonaeronautical revenues, encompassing all functions including Retail, Car Parking, Advertising, F&B and all other nonaeronautical activity to take an active role to assist the growth of yield performance in order to further optimize car parking revenue performance. Manage the continued regular reporting of the nonaeronautical revenue budget each year.
  • Identify and shortlist suppliers in conjunction with IMS and quality assure their work and provide approval for charges as well, in order to ensure that public advertising space, is aligned with strategy and brand aspirations of the airport.
  • Development of car park strategies to encompass future capacity requirements, occupancy, new products, marketing, customer service and staff car parking requirements and ensure that car park and transportation offerings are developed in alignment with HIA's strategy.
  • Manage the development of nonaeronautical products and services with a view to improve revenues and customer satisfaction by continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance through the set SLAs'.
  • Manage the profitable development of service level agreements with vendors and service providers to ensure that highest quality of products and services are provided.
  • Provide infrastructure development recommendation in line with the Airport's passenger forecasts, consistent with the Airport's Masterplan and in response to market trends/ increasing demand and thus assist in the business case analysis to justify capital expenditure and to demonstrate the strategic benefit from the nonaeronautical project development.
  • Participate in the negotiation of new commercial agreements when required and complete concession tendering in order to test market value.
  • Research new opportunities and provide strategic insight in order to grow commercial yield and to develop concession partner agreements that ensure the best possible use is made of commercial space.
Qualifications

About you:

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level.
  • Economics, Business Administration, Commerce
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Commercial Management
  • Must have managed retail/F&B and services concessions at another airport
  • Deep understanding of commercial contracts negotiation, set up and management at an airport
  • Deep understanding of the airport business
