To coordinate between the engineering toensure all maintenance activities are ensured on time and tocoordinate with other departments to ensure all their engineeringrequirements are fulfilled and to monitor and prepare requiredreports on day to day basis to facilitates requiredaction.

Specific Job Knowledge,Skill and Ability

The individualmust possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and beable to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform theessential functions of the job, with or without reasonableaccommodation.

  • Managinggeneral hotel gardens maintenance and for both the gardens andgarden area including basic carpentry and minor painting anddecorating.
  • Monitor thepreventive maintenance file on daily basis and communicate to theteam.
  • Documentation ofPreventive Maintenancerecords
  • Assist theEngineering store to updatereports
  • Assist the teammembers to find records and documents from the engineeringfolders.
  • Prepare andmaintain the engineering library and trainingroom.
  • Organize andcoordinate the department sectionmeetings.
  • Document alltrainingrecords.
  • RepresentEngineering department for meetings ifadvised.
  • Monitor and analysethe guest satisfaction reports concern to Maintenancedepartment.
  • Monitor thedepartment team grooming issues and coordinate with sectionmanagers forimprovements.
  • Monitor thedepartment work safety issues and coordinate with section managersforimprovements.
  • Documentationof work accidents and followups.
  • Coordinate with anotherdepartment wheneverassigned.
  • Communicate to theengineering team through documents about all the necessaryinformation and dailybasis.
  • Communicate andcollect feedback from the team and report to the DOE &ADOE.
  • Coordinate all othermaintenance requests/interventions with the departments concernedensuring the right information are passed in a timely manner andinterventions are done with minimal disturbances tooperations.
  • Ensure goodcommunication between Engineering Department and any otherdepartment.
  • Updateengineering consumptions data's such as electricity, fuel,gas, water consumption and also swimming pools readings etc. On adaily basis and all records should be up to date and available atall times.
  • Assist Engineersin preparing material requisitions for withdrawal from the Main andEngineering stores.
