Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive and routine maintenance as per maintenance plan.
  • Performs major and minor repairs, inspections, checklist of all equipment
  • Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, performs overhaul of Auto Electrical components complete
Wiring, troubleshooting etc.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles to identify potential problems and extend their
Lifetime.

  • Test and replace electrical components, such as alternators, starters, and batteries.
  • Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, vehicles and appliances using appropriate tools
And testing instruments.

  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root causes of problems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment manuals in the troubleshooting process.
  • Maintain proper records of consumables usage and disposal to update Equipment Controllers
  • Communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance & repair data with relevant personnel
  • Complete related paperwork required to complete job (work order, parts order, etc) accurately and timely.
  • Ensure full compliance with the safety goals, objectives, and procedures towards achieving zero LTI.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager or Safety advisors in accordance with
Company policies & procedures;

  • Available during offhours for rescheduling, technical assistance, and emergency response
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Foreman and above.

Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Technical High school Certificate and Auto Electrical qualification certificate
  • Diploma Preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 23 years of experience in the related position
  • Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repai

Geographic Experience:

  • GCC experiences preferred
  • Valid Qatar driving license is advantage

Computer and Language Skills:

Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:

  • Must be highly skilled electrician with experience in servicing electrical accessories
mounted on equipments and vehicles

Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership

Mandatory:
Must be conversant with fault tracing method in electrical systems mounted in
Mobile equipments and should be able to read electrical diagrams.

Preferred:
Knowledge / experience and troubleshooting of the following crane
Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano
