About the role

We are recruiting for Materials Progress Chaser (Engine Facility) to be based in Doha, Qatar.


Materials Progress Chaser (Engine Facility) will be responsible to make sure at each stage, that all materials, spares and tooling required for all scheduled and unscheduled work is arranged / preloaded and delivered to Engine Facility on time.

To keep track and follow up of all critical material and spares requirement that arises due to the additional re-work or robberies from Engine Facility engine / APU / components for line / base operation.


Accountabilities:
Operational

  • Coordination Bridge between Engine Facility and Supply chain to provide materials, spares, tooling on time.
  • To prepare requisition and preload spares, materials and tooling required for all scheduled and unscheduled work in Engine Facility.
  • Maintain listing of material and special tooling / equipment required for each routine package and variable routine work.
  • Keep track of the all the robberies in engine facility and coordinate with respective supply chain for the back fill plan.
  • To prepare daily preloaded spares list.
  • To maintain current list of all shortages and inform Planning Engineer / Manager of all shortfalls for procurement plans.
  • Coordinate with engine facility staff to prioritize removal of components that requires to build for next engine / APU / component for intime crediting.
  • Keep track of ready for installation engines / APU and liaise with SC Store Inspector for the timely release of the same.
  • Follow up with supply chain for creating the repair orders for the engine, APU and components that can be repaired inhouse as per Engine Facility capability.
  • Follow up with relevant shops on progress of shipshopship items. Ensuring that items are returned back on time as requested.
  • Once components are ready in shop, make necessary transportation arrangements to move the items back to store.
  • Arrange pick up and returning tools.
About you

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of jobrelated experience Or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of jobrelated experience
  • Knowledge in use of spread sheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software.
  • Basic Knowledge of Aircraft system.
  • Knowledge of TRAX system
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Documentation.
