  • Act as the day to day operational manager forany design managers or other design management resource deployed toprojects.
  • You will beresponsible for leading the delivery of design management todeliver key strategic outcomes & subfunction KPIs directlyinfluencing strategic development.
  • You will be the main point of contact for clientdesign issues ensuring relationships are managed andmaintained.

Youll be responsiblefor:

  • Develops delegatedelements of annual business plan outcomes to deadlines andbudget.
  • Leads and managesdesign resource for project/s.
  • Manages daily operations for project/s designresource /managers.
  • Leadsand presents management review data/key performance indicators(KPIs) to project and subfunction leadership
  • Supports business development and work winningactivities.
  • Leads theidentification development and delivery of relevanttraining.
  • Ensuremanagement system is followed and whole project roles andresponsibilities are adhered to.
  • Acts as focal point for design related matterson project/s.
  • Recommendsand initiates change to project delivery plans develops new designmanagement tools and operating processes.
  • Supports and influences procurement routescontractual and legal aspects of project/s.
  • Contributes to the promotion of technicalexcellence support dialogue/communication.
  • Collaborates project management office (PMO)teams (as required) ensuring coordinated deliverables.
  • Actively seeks out knowledge andexperience through Company reach back.
  • Actively seeks understanding and utilise thecentre of excellence (CoE) knowledge base.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal ofnet zero carbon transition and share responsibility for theproactive identification and management of the associated carbonemissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Youll need to have:

  • Recognised degree inArchitecture/Engineering.
  • Registered professional or charteredlicense.
  • Extensiveprofessional experience including in workplace/office HQ fitoutprojects.

Youll needalso:

  • Membership ofRIBAMICECIBSECIOB RICSCIAT or equivalent demonstrable professionalor personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful deliveryphase of projects and programmes in the constructionsector.
  • Deep constructionand consultancy expertise.
  • Knowledge of Building Safety legislationBuilding standards construction contracts professional appointmentsand Health & Safety legislation.
  • Leadership and management experience of largediverse teams.
  • Experienceof managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon andsustainability considerations will shape the outlook of theprojects you are working on.
