  • Lead, teach, coach and inspire ateam of up to 90 staff, including Stewards and equipment stockersfor the day, evening or night team.
  • Ensuringall colleagues arrive for their shift on time, well-groomed andready to work.
  • Assign work station to allcolleagues during line-up and pass on eventsand
  • Information.
  • Ensuringthat all colleagues are following the proper procedures andstandards set in place by the department and thehotel.
  • Responsible for the opening and closingshift.
  • Ensure that all Kitchens are Cleaned,Organized and sanitized
  • Ensure all daily taskslist are completed.
  • Ensuring inter-departmentalcommunication and cooperation in the interest of better guestsatisfaction.
  • Ensuring that garbage &recycling removal is being done in a timely manner and doneaccording to the rules set in place by thehotel.
  • Assist in the correct usage of allchemicals within the department and outlets, including appropriatetraining.
  • Conduct individual developmentdiscussion and performance reviews as assigned on a monthlybasis.
  • Conduct performance discussions andensure all progressive corrective actions forms are completedcorrectly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist anyoutlets and culinary team for any kind of resourcerequest.
  • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned,maintained and properly stored after anevent.
  • Attend and participate in departmentalmeetings.
  • Perform walkthrough with Asst/ChiefSteward on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all storageroom are kept clean and organized.
  • Fillingpositions within the department whenneeded.
  • Foster an environment of cooperationwithin the department and between other departments within thehotel.
  • Encourage participation and input fromall.
  • colleagues while promoting professionalwork habits that will ensure thatthe
  • department is being guided at all time byRaffles & Fairmont's Mission, Vision andValues.
  • Have a proactive eye for detail andcleanliness.
  • Compliance with all safetyregulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe workingenvironment with active participation in the hotel health andsafety program.
  • Adhere to all environmentalpolicies and programs as required Other reasonable duties asassigned.
  • Follow department policies,procedures and service standards.
