Position: Consultant, Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Location: Doha, Qatar Salary: Competitive, with excellent benefits

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team in Doha, Qatar. Our state-of-the-art healthcare facilities are dedicated to providing the highest level of critical care to patients with complex medical conditions. As a Consultant in MICU, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, managing, and treating critically ill patients. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care for critically ill patients in the MICU.
  • Lead the medical team in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with life-threatening conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engage in research and continuous medical education activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Sub-specialty certification in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a critical care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and continuous improvement.
