Job Purpose


• Manages the coordination of engineering, procurement and construction activities across the internal project team functions to ensure full cross team and project integration of activities in support of the Barzan Gas Diversion Project; Supports reporting and management of internal and external stakeholders.

· Provides support and assistance to the EPC-3 BGD Area Division Manager for activities associated to reporting, including but not limited to: PMT weekly report and actions list, actions lists from weekly and monthly meetings with Contractor, preparation of inputs, Powerpoint presentations for Steering Committee, Technical Committee and Tender Committee. Focal point to the Team for Decision Records, Technical Notes, Positions Papers.

· Manages completion of QatarEnergy LNG Project Management System requirements and the Operations Readiness Plan. Supports change and risk management processes and manages various project action registers to ensure completion of critical activities.



Key Job Accountabilities (Max 10, each unique, exclude generic)



1. Provides leadership to the NFXP Onshore Project Safety Management System and conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.

2. Provides Project Management support to the EPC-3 BGD Area Division Manager as specified in the Job purpose section. Develops presentations and manages the various Stakeholders and Shareholder(s).

3. On behalf of the EPC-3 BGD Area Division Manager, leads the coordination across the functions within the BGD Project Team and the supporting NFXP Onshore pooled resources to maintain team alignment and collaboration. Ensures communication of key project information within the extended project team.

4. Leads the coordination to ensure alignment between the various NFXP Sub-Project Teams, providing information and resolving misalignment as required. Monitors interface agreement performance, highlighting and intervening in critical and underperforming interfaces to avoid any impacts to execution.

5. Monitors project performance, KPIs and exception reports to identify critical issues in support of overall project management. Supports resolution through coordination with the respective functional managers to identify mitigation options and contingency plans. Coordinates and manages various action registers to ensure completion of tasks.

6. Coordinates with the Business team the change management process driving change orders to final resolution and providing clear line of sight. Active support role in Risk Management Program identifying risks and defining and tracking mitigations actions through relevant disciplines/functions.

7. Maintains compliance with the QatarEnergy LNG Project Management System (QELNG PMS) by managing the completion of the required QELNGMPS deliverables, coordinating and scheduling the Gate Reviews, and tracking all findings and observations to closure in accordance with requirements.

8. With support from the Senior Operations Advisor, manages completion of the Operations Readiness Plan by ensuring assignment of all actions and monitors the completion of deliverables. Holds periodic status reviews and highlights areas of concern for prompt resolution.

9. Actively participates in all phases of project execution including design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up to ensure a smooth hand-over to the end user.

10. Provide assistance to the EPC-3 BGD Area Division Manager for the preparation of the project Close Out Report.



Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree in Engineering



Knowledge and/or Experience


• 8 years of experience in a project execution related environment within the oil and gas industry with knowledge of project management, engineering including cost control, work planning and activity scheduling.


• Experience on large brownfield projects with multiple EPC Contracts and execution teams


• Prior experience in Qatar or the Middle East preferred

• Good planning and organisational skills.


• Good influencing and negotiation skills.


• Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office and technical applications.
