Senior QA/QCEngineerQatarParsons is looking for an amazingly talented SeniorQA/QC Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to bepart of the supervising team to monitor the preparation andestablishment of the quality assurance

What You'll BeDoing:

  • The QA/QC Engineer is part of the Supervising teamwho will monitor the preparation and establishment of the QualityAssurance (QA) by the contractors. The QA/QC Engineer will assistthe QA/QC Manager in monitoring the implementation of the ParsonsManagement System in compliance with the Parsons Corporatepolicies, International Standards and Client srequirements.
  • Monitors and audits the quality relatedactivities, set forth in the Quality Plans, to confirm thatproducts or services provided are in accordance with clientrequirements.
  • Periodically conducts detailed audits toassess the level of compliance with the QA/QC systems, procedures,and related-quality activities. As assigned by the QA/QC Manager hemay interact with Senior Resident Engineer and Resident Engineersto assess on-site activities (client s design and/or constructioncontractors) and reports and provides regular updates to the QA/QCManager.
  • Supports the preparation and issuance of projectspecific Quality Plans, QA/QC processes and procedures incompliance with client s quality requirements; and monitors thatthese are implemented effectively, as assigned by QA/QCManager.
  • Performs QA audits (internal and/or external),reviews, surveillances and follow-ups.
  • Identifies andreports to the QA/QC Manager on quality issues or trends based ondata from a variety of sources.
  • Supports implementationof appropriate corrective action to quality issues (internal andContractor s).
  • Provides input to QA/C Manager on projectsperformance metrics, and process or procedural systemimprovements.
  • Coordinates Lessons Learnt process for theProject, following up Project personnel and reportingaccordingly.
  • Participates in Quality Meetings.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by the ProgrammeQA/QC Manager

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accreditedUniversity to the approval of the Engineer.
  • Minimum 15years demonstrable experience, of which 7 years in similar largescale infrastructures projects.
  • Experience in qualitycontrol and quality assurance of sewerage, surface and water,drainage, outfalls, pump stations, treatment works, road, highwaysconstruction quality and control requirement;
  • Particularemphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and StatisticalQuality;
  • Control. Should be able to review and justifythe material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports,carrying out acceptance sampling plans, testing and qualitymeasures, ensuring the compliance with the project'sspecifications. Ability to prepare accurate QA/QC plans and havethe ability to lead, cooperate and motivate a project QC team,write clear, brief and accurate technical reports.
  • Mustdemonstrate and prove of experience in respect of the relevantinternational Standards for Quality Assurance procedure;
  • Candidates should participate in the all aspects for the projectlife cycle, from setting out, Designs, construction, testing andcommissioning stage, with emphasis on data analysis, systemtesting, regression testing, and auditable documentation ofresults;
  • Initiate, plan and follow up closely on ProjectClose Out Requirement from the project inception on contractorsubmission to the approval of concern stake holders, department andauthorities to the satisfaction of the Engineers not limited toDrainage Operation and Maintenance Department, Road MaintenanceDepartment, EBD-DCU Municipalities, etc.
  • Coordination,monitoring and follow up between external and internal stakeholders to obtain the necessary clearances for the projects closeout clearances
