What You Will Do

  • Empower and encouragethe team to take immediate action to meet the needs of guests andgive input on how to continuously improve our meeting with them
  • Together with his colleagues and IFB manager, contributeactively in the development and implementation of a clear IKEA Foodaction plan for the store using the store business plan and countrybusiness plan based on input from the IKEA Food Direction &Strategy. Develop and execute an annual action plan for kitchenarea based on agreed goals.
  • Actively implement the rangematrix (global and national) by securing quality and availability.
  • Serve high-volume dishes that suit the taste of the manypeople on the local market.
  • Secure that we prepare allfood in line with the product sheet and secure the quality servedat all times.
  • Actively use the product sheets to trainco-workers. Also, ensure all co-workers taste and learn about newproducts before they are launched.
  • Secure anirresistible food offer by ensuring to give customers an appealingrange presentation.
  • Passionate about kitchen productsand actively learn about their content, origins, preparation andother benefits. Share this knowledge with the team.
  • Ensure that his team and him know the top-selling products, 3 Acesand 1 King, and that they are available and clearly communicatedand displayed at all times. To promote alternative products whenthese are unavailable.
  • Utilise everyday commercialopportunities to grow sales and profitability according to thegoals in his area. Work with the Functional Commercial Review andother appropriate tools to do so.
  • During unexpectedlyquiet times, propose commercial activities that attract storevisitors and increase the take-up rate, or take other actions tosecure productivity.
  • Co-operate with the IFB manager toenhance Swedishness and the link between the IKEA Restaurant& Café and the Swedish Food Market whenappropriate.
  • Have relevant knowledge of the competitionon the market & use this information to initiate immediateaction as needed, e.g. secure a substantial price distance.
  • Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most importantin-store marketing tool for maximising the IKEA store'ssales potential.
