We are now looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Secondary Science Laboratory Technician, to provide high quality technician and support service to the Science Department, consisting of Physics, Biology and Chemistry at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Currently, the Science Department at Doha College consists of 22 full-time teachers supported by 4 full-time science technicians. Lessons are taught in 20 purpose-built laboratories. The College follows a balanced science programme at Key Stage 3, in line with the English National Curriculum. At Key Stage 4, students opt for Edexcel IGCSE Separate Sciences. At A Level, students opt for Edexcel Physics, Edexcel Chemistry and CIE Biology.

About you

The successful candidate should have good working knowledge of handling scientific equipment and chemicals. As a Science Laboratory Technician, you will provide technical support to teachers and students and assist in maintaining facilities and equipment as directed by the Head of Science.
