JOB TITLE:

PASTRY CHEF / Ice Cream Maker Scope and Purpose Responsible for the creation, decoration, and presentation of desserts such as cakes and pastries Specialized in the making of a range of chilled products from scratch including ice cream, sorbets, and frozen desserts.

Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.


RELATED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Create custom desserts from recipes and oversee the production and preparation of the desserts/ice cream.

- Develop new recipes for seasonal and holiday menus. - Ensure the quality and process of the products are up to standard. - Willingness to replenish professional knowledge. - Knowledgeable on the process of making ice cream, critical points on handling and recipes. - Monitor stocks and conduct inventories. - Checking the quality of material and conditions of the equipment and devices used for the desserts.

SPECIFIC SKILLS - Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

- Good knowledge of pastry arts, ice cream making and ingredients - Confident culinary techniques and skills - Good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead - Able to work under pressure.

- Working independently and self-motivated, especially during peak hours. - Diligent and meticulous in making and receiving orders. - Strong organizational and time management skills - Punctuality and discipline to ensure optimal work performance.

Salary:
From QAR5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employerprovided relocation package (required)
