The world of fashion design is diverse.Designers have many duties that go beyond just drawing clothingdesigns. They are also responsible for researching trends andmarketing their products. There are additional duties for adesigner depending on what area of design they go into such as massmarket production or customized design. As part of the process ofdesigning different types of Abayas an Abaya designer must create adesign suitable for the bodies of those who will wear the Abaya aswell as create patterns and choose appropriate fabrics andembellishments. The designer is creating Abayas for massmarketdistribution must ensure that the abaya can be produced and sold ina costeffective manner. Some very conservative women may wearsimple black Abayas although other styles and designs areavailable. For Abaya designers a consideration of modesty andfunctionality is important as creating innovative and attractivegarments.

Fashion DesignerResponsibilities.

1. An abaya designer must takethese restrictions into consideration when creating the garment asit is important that the garment function well in both assisting awoman in meeting modesty codes while also allowing her enoughfreedom of movement to accomplish daily tasks.

2.Another consideration of an abaya designer includes the fabrics.While the fabric should not be sheer and should be thick enough toconceal a womans shape it should also provide ventilation so thatwomen are not overcome with heat while wearing thegarment.

3. The primary concerns of a designeroften depend on the types of Abayas that he or she specializes inand according to the demands of the company.

4.Most Abayas are designed for everyday wear in areas where modestycodes may not be strictly enforced and where women are permittedsome degree of freedom in their clothingchoices.

5. Designers should be forwardthinkingto incorporate different ethnic clothing styles into the garmentsand use interesting fabrics and embellishments to createfashionable Abayas.

6. Fashion designers researchcurrent and future trends. Conceptualization of design throughmarket research and surveys for developing idea in creatingtrending styles.

7. Preparing original sketchesof abaya and patterns on provided materials for makingsamples.

8. Supervising the cutting and providingcomplete measurement to the master cutter.

9.Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments andsupervising the making up of these including handwork crystal workembroidery fitting detailing andadaptations.

REQUIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ANSARGROUP

10. Collaborating the work with otherfashion designers prospective buyers and current market forpredicting the trends in near future assembling designer team forcarrying out the designing process discussing designing ideas withcompany management sales and marketing representatives and workingon it accordingly.

11. Attending fashion showsfor obtaining more knowledge on the latest trends and techniques infashion designing reviewing fashion magazines for obtaining moreintricate knowledge on the same etc.

12.Understanding the various aspects of designing techniques likelayering producing patterns using decorations and embellishmentsetc. and selecting appropriate production techniquesaccordingly.

13. Purchasing of materials includessearching of new materials latest fashion in clothing (besidesbasic clothing and prices) accessories such as laces crystalsstones and other decorations items.

14.Communicating with people outside the organization representing theorganization to customers and the public and other external sourcesfor providing and attaining better information and knowledge aboutthe product.

15. Preparing the designs and makepresentations on the models for approval of the Director board andto know the production quantity for eachbranch.
