Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC)-Grade A
Qualification -Mechanical Engineering

Experience - 10+ years of experience

Job Accountabilities:

  • Experience in knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning systems and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
  • Develop the design criteria, which would define the requirements the systems would be required to deliver.
  • Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of HVAC Airflow Diagrams and Utility Systems Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), control diagram and control strategy and general arrangements.
  • Develop final design documents including specification, sequences of operation as well as the HVAC ductwork layout and final construction documents
  • Supervise and manage multiple clients and subcontractors for applicable phases of projects.
  • Understands multidisciplinary design processes.
  • Developing sustainable building services designs on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower, Infrastructure and mixeduse developments.
  • Researching, planning, designing and developing sustainable HVAC systems.
  • Have thorough knowledge of codes related to the design.
  • Have thorough knowledge of HVAC software program i.e. HAP, Elite, Trace CAD, Revit and EQ Software selection for AHU,FCU, Fans.
  • Ensure that the documents meet the Municipal, Company and client standards/ protocols.
  • Be selfmotivated in attaining position objectives and in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
  • Exhibit drive, attitude, and enthusiasm.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities for selfmanagement and use time efficiently.
  • Ensure that Company and client standards and protocol are followed.
  • Ensure that Municipality and Governmental standards and protocol are followed.
  • Oversee and resolve the various design issues during all phases.
  • Prepare, present, or participate in seminars or symposiums.
