Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Consult with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Prepare detailed drawings and layouts using CAD software.
Work with the design team to ensure specifications and designs meet client needs and budget.
Assess costeffectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as projects develop.
Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
Conduct site visits and project meetings as necessary.
Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
Keep abreast of changes in the industry and adjust estimates accordingly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a woodwork's estimator or in a similar role.
Proficient in CAD software and drafting techniques.
Strong understanding of woodworking processes and materials.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant educational background, such as a degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
