Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to understand project requirements and develop scaffolding designs that meet client needs and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed scaffolding designs, including layout plans, load calculations, and structural analysis.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the safety and stability of proposed scaffolding designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field teams during the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to scaffolding design and construction.
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and components for scaffolding systems, ensuring quality and costeffectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of standard design templates, procedures, and guidelines to streamline the design process and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and site visits as needed to support project delivery and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in scaffolding design, with a strong understanding of scaffolding materials, components, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla Structures.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as OSHA, ANSI, and EN.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to perform structural analysis and calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
  • Extensive scaffold design experience with Ring lock, Cup lock and tube/fittings is essential
  • The majority of previous working history with a scaffolding and access contractor inside an Industrial plant.
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment.
