Responsibilities:

  • Greet passengers and verify their travel documents, including passports and tickets.
  • Use computer systems to check passengers into the cruise efficiently.
  • Inspect passports and other travel documents for authenticity and accuracy.
  • Issue boarding passes to passengers upon successful completion of the checkin process.
  • Provide assistance and respond to passenger inquiries regarding their travel plans.
  • Offer guidance and support for any special requests or needs passengers may have.
  • Inform passengers of their boarding time, gate number, and any other relevant details.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that passengers might have during the checkin process.
  • Collaborate with other ground handling staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report any irregularities or issues.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use checkin software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify documents accurately
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is an advantage
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
