Cleaning Technician

OverviewThe CleaningTechnician (CT) is responsible for performing custodial services asspecified in the Performance Work Statement for Base andRecreational Service areas such as the Lodging facilities, FitnessCenters, Lounges, Community Activity Centers, Learning ResourceCenter, Media Center, Theaters and Hospital Aseptic.
The CT reportsto the Lead Cleaning Technician and functions as a FacilityManager.Responsibilities Responsible for the execution of custodialservices as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards,leading by example, working as a team and providing well maintainedequipment and facilities. Shall perform work in a manner thatpresents a clean, neat and professional appearance whilemaintaining satisfactory facility and equipment conditions.
Responsible for monitoring other country nationals in accordancewith AFCENTI and obtain escort badge.
Performs custodialwork including, but not limited to, restroom cleaning and supplyreplenishment, floors, baseboards, corners and wall/floor edges,light fixtures, interior glass/mirrors, sink and counter, laundryrooms, tables/desks, water potted plants, dusting, spot cleaning,outdoor patio cleaning, collect/remove trash, cleanrefrigerators/microwaves, sort linen, resupply clean linen, andrestock linen closet as specified in the PWS.
Shall function as aFacility Manager to assigned location(s) as specified in the PWS.Shall provide on-call and over and above cleaning services asneeded.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary,healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust,clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
Responsiblefor following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documentedtraining program.Responsible for proper utilization andsafeguarding of all government and contractor provided property(e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).Responsible for precise execution of company time reportingprocedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
Shall perform assupplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Servicefunctional areas. Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Education/Certifications:
One-year relatedexperience may be substituted for one year of education, if degreeis required. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a validU. S. Passport and U. S. Driver's License.
Must have aninternational driver's license and capability of obtainingan Air Force flight line driver's license and capable ofdriving a manual transmission.
Must have and maintain a valid U. S.SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualificationrequirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drugtesting, background checks, etc. Candidates must successfullycomplete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological,radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes thesuccessful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear. ExperienceA minimum of one year of general cleaning experience. Shall befamiliar with applicable fire prevention, ground safety, smoking,and security standards. Experience as a Forklift driver and HAZMATtraining preferred. Skills Good communication, teamwork andcustomer service skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft programssuch as Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Able and willing towork periods of long hours to meet mission requirements Militaryexperience in a contingency environment and knowledge andexperience working with government contracts preferred.
WorkingEnvironment Work will be inside and outside. Exposure to cold,dust, noise, and chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work maybe required depending on contractual needs. Employee must complywith all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Companywork rules as well as written instructions. Task specific workenvironment training will be provided as required. Must be preparedto function in a wartime environment to support U.
