Subsea Diving Project Senior Specialist

Responsible for the successful execution ofthe assigned project package by coordinating all the disciplinesinvolved such as engineering, procurement, inspection, testing,transport, etc., in accordance with Milaha QHSES corporatepolicies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classesetc.), schedule and budget.


Main dutiesinclude:

  • Ownership and responsibility formultiple projects, managing and delegation of tasks. Reportingprogress to Project Managers;
  • Planning andpresentation of design solutions at formal Design Reviewsinternally and also at customer meetings;
  • Prepare / write / review method statement, procedures, schedulesand planning for the various aspects of the project plan, includingdocument control compliance;
  • Liaise withE&C Dept personnel to ensure project documentation isdrafted, reviewed and issued per projectrequirements;
  • Determine timeframe forindividual phases of the SOW, and formulate strategies based uponknowledge and experience. Prepare Project Plan from mobilisation todemobilisation, and all points in between;
  • Review equipment specifications for in-house and hired equipment,converse with suppliers to ensure plant and equipment availability,timely delivery. Monitor pricing and cost;
  • Follow-up on pre-inspection and third party quality certificationof the project support vessels, lifting equipment in order toprovide the necessary safety information;
  • Monitor mobilization of personnel and equipment while liaising withworkshop personnel to ensure all areas of mobilization arefollowed-up and completed as per mobilizationplan;
  • Attend project client meetings /briefings and prepare draft and final reports for ABS, DNVGL, BVinspections, Clients' construction projects and smalldiving / ROV / survey / inspection projects;
  • Review project report / brief and commentaccordingly;
  • Ensure safe operations whileminimizing our impact on the environment by means of complying withoccupational QHSE standards.
  • Ensure all areasof Tender documentation have been reviewed, and be particularlymindful of innocuous areas that could cause problems duringexecution;
  • Prepare / write / review tendermethod statements and tender schedules to support the tenderteam;
  • Liaise with third party suppliers andother vendors to identify and source equipment and resources tosupport technical execution of the tender;
  • Oversee the compilation of both technical and commercial sectionsof the tender while directing the cost controller. Ensure in-housespecifications for vessel and QHSE requirement meet the tender /contract specification;
  • Ensure TenderSubmission has all required and relevant technical, QHSE andcommercial documentation duly and timelycompleted.
  • Assist in reviewing and ensuringeffective maintenance, and utilization of operation reports inorder to effectively manage future projects, operations, medicalexaminations, and training courses taken, asrelevant;
  • Help maintain a library of equipmentcertification, including lifting and rigging equipment, in order toensure that all equipment are being used and maintainedappropriately;
