Description:

WPOis actively looking for a Director of Account Management,Americas to support the Account Management team in North,South and Central America. This role will report directly to theVice President of Account Management, Americas and is responsiblefor the management of a team of Account Managers and Senior AccountManagers. The position requires a proactive approach with theability to deliver effective supervisory people managementoutcomes, setting team objectives, delivery of team businesstargets, coaching and training staff, assisting team members withtheir client accounts on a day-to-day basis, acting as a leadrepresentative for the business with clients, and standard accountmanagement activity for assigned client accounts. Additionally, therole involves supporting the Vice President of Account Management,Americas, the global Account Management team, and other WPODepartments, in order to work towards the achievement of businessobjectives. Business travel may be required, as needed throughoutthe region andabroad.


PositionResponsibilities:

Responsible forthe management and support of a team of Account Managers and SeniorAccount Managers. This includes onboarding, performance management,setting staff objectives, coaching, and mentoring. Resourceplanning will also form part of the role in consultation with theVice President of Account Management, Americas, Chief CustomerOfficer, Global Account Management andCEO.

Activelyassisting team members with the development of their new andexisting accounts on a day-to-daybasis.

Acting as a leadrepresentative for the business in developing client businessrelationships, including attending client meetings, assisting withbusiness up-sales, client renewals and working with BusinessDevelopment to secure new business opportunities. In conductingthese duties, the Director will liaise closely with the VicePresident of Global Account Management, Americas, and ChiefCustomerOfficer.

Responsibilityfor the delivery of agreed business performance outcomes, businessplanning objectives, as well as key deliverables in client accountmanagement. This includes monitoring and reporting on agreed teamrevenue targets, reviewing and allocating team portfolios, analysisof team performance, recommendations on business improvements, andachieving agreed businessobjectives.

Develop strongPremier / Strategic client relationships, in order to deliverexcellent Customer MemorableExperiences.

Undertake andsupport team with regards to planning and launch activity for newclients and supporting existing clients with on-going initiativesand contactactivity.

Represent WPO atexternal companyevents.

Participate inad hoc projects and assignments on behalf of the department andcompany.

TheDirector of Account Management will also be expected to manage aportfolio of accounts as agreed upon with the Vice President ofAccount Management,Americas.

Excellent peoplemanagement and business managementskills.

In-depthknowledge of WPO s products and Americas EAP/Wellnessmarkets.

Demonstratedexperience in a management role combining both people managementand business management experience and responsibility in acommercial setting isrequired.

Experience inaccount management roles, working with business to business, and or3rd party intermediary client relationships, ispreferred.

Additionalexperience in account management dealing with global clients wouldalso be anadvantage.

Proven AccountManagement Experience. At least 8 years within WPO orexternally

ExperienceandQualifications:

Bachelor sDegree in management, business or related field required. Inaddition, a clinical or psychology background would be abonus.

Previousdemonstrated experience is preferred in account management orcustomer services roles working in business-to-business servicessector and or with 3rd partyre-sellers.

Fluency in Spanish and English, through both verbal and writtencommunications. Bachelor s degree (preference in communications,journalism, or another related field, but not required). Competencyin working with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe. Ability totake complex concepts and present them in a digestible, engagingway. Can adapt content and tone for different audiences. Showsmeticulous attention to detail and diligence in following up onrequests to SMEs. Results and quality-driven not satisfied withproducing mediocre work. Effective time and people managementskills, to ensure deadlines are met. Possesses strong analytical,problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Confidence inworking closely with executive-level staff. The ability to formatand help design visually appealing documents. Previousproposal-writing experience preferred. Experience with Qvidian (orother content, RFP applications) preferred.
