Rixos Qetaifan Island North


Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark.

The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Within the general guidelines given by the hotel management, Door Attendant is responsible to greet guests with a smile and to ensure that all guests receive an amazing experience from their first point of contact with the team.

What you will be doing:

  • Door Attendant open doors and greet guests with a smile.
  • Greets & escort guests.
  • Directing and controlling the traffic of lobby area.
  • Ensure all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Observe proper grooming and personal hygiene at all times.
  • Assist arriving and departing guests with their vehicles, including but not limited to driving and parking all types of vehicles.
  • Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectations.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints.
  • Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
  • Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort).
  • Good in English and communications Skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Customer oriented with a positive attitude and smiling face.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Cooperative and selfgiving team player.
  • Ability and willingness to perform under stress.
  • Positive and high energy level.
  • A willingness to go the extra mile in ensuring guests' needs are met.
