a) Background


Stock checker is required to perform stock checking in Inventory record (mainly in SAP), physical storage and potential material requirement.

b) Services to be performed Stock checker will check stock material status in Warehouse premises and its contractors to produce following:

  • List of items for inventory counting, perform the counting and posting count result.
  • Clarification with warehouse and inventory controller if discrepancy is found and to resolve it.
  • Report on inventory count, including stock accuracy and discrepancy against bin location, material number and difference value.
  • Percentage accuracy or discrepancy between Company inventory system stock figure and verify physical material in warehouse (inventory counting)
  • Follow up on stock difference and prepare proposal/documentation for posting the difference.
  • Produce annual stock check result and recap.
  • Materials requirement against Company plant operation activity (Work Order and Reservation) and recommendation to cater requirement (to purchase or to repair spare).
  • Hold valid Forklift Operating License from the standard origination and approved by
Qatar government regulatory body;

  • Operation certificate from approved third party vendor for operating the Forklifts, VNA's (Very Narrow Aisle Truck) & Side Loaders.
  • Have Banksman training certificate from approved training provider.
c) Service location

The service will be performed in Company plant (i.e. warehouse) and its contractor.

d) Service time

Stock checker will perform his service during normal work days and normal business hours, for 8 working hours daily.

e) Work interface


In performing his service, stock checker work relation will be with Company Inventory Controller, Warehouse personnel, Contractor personnel, technical end user (production, maintenance, safety, etc).

Stock checker will work under coordination/supervision of Inventory controller. f) Process/procedure

Stock checker will perform inventory count as per Company procedure.

Stock checker will perform stock material requirement check against Company

procedure.

g) Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant warehousing field.
