Purpose of Role

The Receptionist is the first point of contactfor the school. They assist in the successful administration of theschool and provide excellent administrative support and highlyconfidential secretarial services. Provision ofhighquality reception service including the efficient and courteousmanagement of incoming telephone calls and visitors in line withthe school guidelines

Greet and welcome guestsas soon as they arrive at the school entrance

Direct visitors to the appropriate person andoffice

Answer screen and forward incoming phonecalls

Coordinate frontdeskactivities

Ensure reception area is tidy andpresentable with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pensforms and brochures)

Provide basic and accurateinformation inperson and via phone/email

Receivesort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
