Welder (SMAW Certified)

Responsibilities:

Perform SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) on various metal components.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary.

Set up welding equipment and ensure proper welding parameters are followed.

Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements:

SMAW certification.

Previous experience as a welder preferred.

Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Job Types:
