RoleSummary: The role is primarily responsible toimplement and document deliver and support the application bycoding and documenting testing and maintaining the development ofsoftware programs and applications as per the specificationsprovided by the designated systems analysts using the standarddevelopmenttools.

RoleDescription:

  • Carefullyanalyze possible software and application program changes to ensurecongruence with the Groups longterm planning and approvedstrategy.
  • Design implement document and developapplications as per the specified budget andplan.
  • Liaise with the concerned business fortheir information requirements and followup as and when required toanswer their business needs.
  • Develop newapplications as per user requirements and the plan specified by thedesignated systems analysts.
  • Correct bugs anderrors by making appropriate changes and then retest the program toensure that the desired results areproduced.
  • Conduct trial runs/perform testing ofprograms and software applications to be sure they will produce thedesired information and that the instructions arecorrect.
  • Perform revision repair or expansionof existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt tonew requirements.
  • Write analyze review andrewrite programs using workflow chart and diagram and applyingknowledge of computer capabilities subject matter and symboliclogic.
  • Write or contribute to instructions ormanuals to guide end users.
  • Investigate whethernetworks workstations the central processing unit of the systemand/or peripheral equipment are responding to a programsinstructions.
  • Prepare detailed workflow chartsand diagrams that describe input output and logical operation andconvert them into a series of instructions coded in a computerlanguage.
  • Use objectoriented programminglanguages as well as client/server applications developmentprocesses and multimedia and Internettechnology.
  • Abide by the Policies andProcedures developed for maintaining the Information Security forthe Data Centre Operations and shall take on activeresponsibilities in achieving managing and maintaining the ISO27001standard.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science. 2 years experience infinancial services with a specialization in applicationprogramming. Experience inRDBMS.
