 JOBSUMMARY
The certified EpicHealthy Planet Application Analyst is a senior specialist andsupports core functions of the health system s processes.Responsible for Epic software analysis, design, configuration,testing, and implementation as well as application support andissue resolution. Maintains high credibility and ownership ofsystem activities within assigned application. Works independentlyand successfully engages simultaneously in multiple activities,including cross-functional application initiatives, and providesinput on system design and capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works closely withTeam Lead or Manager on researching, planning, building, testing,and implementing approved projects.
  • Partners with TeamLead or Manager to oversee the delivery of solutions andappropriately escalates risks and issues.
  • Performs dataanalysis to include the use of Epic or other technical tools toextract requirements, identify data inaccuracies, and ensureaccurate processing and reporting with minimal to no supervision.
  • Develops systemdesign, including functional specifications and strategies, basedupon the analysis of specific operational needs.
  • Analyze operationalrequirements and system capabilities to propose effectivesolutions.
  • Understand workflowpractices and how to apply to system configuration in support ofOperational/IT strategies, issues, and priorities.
  • Performs unit,system, and integration testing per standards and documentsoutcomes.
  • Work with ApplicationTeam to ensure applications are well supported and implementationsare properly executed.
  • Follow definedstandards and promote best practice principles.
  • Optimizes, maintains,and supports application/system as required.
  • Participateseffectively as a team member to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in changecontrol processes.
  • Provides on-callsupport as required, troubleshoots, and resolves production supportissues. Initiates escalation procedures. Identify potential issuesand refer more complex issues to the appropriate level ofsupport.
  • Builds rapport andpromotes teamwork by always maintaining a professional and positiveattitude, working to maintain open and professional lines ofcommunication with all end users and colleagues, and utilizing keychange management principles.
  • Attends team anddepartment meetings.
  • Meets applicationdeliverables and project timelines.
  • Produces weeklystatus reporting as requested.
  • Completes timelyproject and data tracking with input of weekly time tracking.
  • Performs otherrelated duties assigned by supervisor. In an emergency, performsother duties necessary for the welfare of patients or the efficientoperations of the institution.

Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor s degree inHealthcare Administration, Information Management, Computer Scienceor information technology related field preferred; (Will considerequivalent combination of formal education and experience.)

Experience:
  • Minimum three to fiveyears build experience as a certified EpicAnalyst
  • Experience within amulti-entity, healthcareenvironment
  • Prior Epicimplementationexperience
  • Experience withclinical applications in either inpatient or outpatientsettings
  • Previous experiencementoring team memberspreferred
