  • Oversee contractoractivities during the North Field Production &Sustainability (NFPS) EPCOL Project, which includes all aspects ofOnshore and offshore Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS)and Instrumentation for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioningactivities at project sites (onshore and offshore) located inQatar.
  • Ensure the facilityand all its components are built and installed according to thedesign and function as agreed in projectspecifications.
  • Facilitate aflawless start-up of the new facilities by supervising thetransition through EPC construction, installation,pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases including finalhandover from project team to end user for controlsystems.

KeyAccountabilities

  • EnsureICSS, Instrument and Control (I&C) activities are conductedin accordance with regulatory requirements and projectspecifications.
  • Lead workexecution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with LNGoperational policies, standards of business conduct and projectmanagement system.
  • Monitorthe Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase orderwith the EPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with theroles and responsibilities given in the contract to ensure safe andseamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to theexisting operatingfacilities.
  • ReviewContractor planning and scheduling activities for Pre-Commissioningand Commissioning to ensure coordination with other aspects ofwork.
  • Monitor Contractorperformance and provide advice as necessary to ensure design goals,philosophies and specifications areachieved.
  • Review alldocumentation relates to Pre-Commissioning andCommissioning.
  • Participateat site to ensure safe execution of Systems Completion activitiesand provide guidance on Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning,Commissioning and Turnover of equipment and systems asrequired.
  • Develop and manageeffective work packs, tools, commissioning plans to ensure a smoothand safe hand-over to permanentorganization.
  • Lead andmanage clear communication and reporting lines for all matterspertaining to commissioning for NFPS Offshore Project and ensurecompliance with LNG Project Management (QGPM)requirements.
  • Coordinate andshare lessons learned from previous projects and maintain aregister of current lessons learned for use in future projectswithin LNG.
