We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, we are looking for IT Specialist for our Sister company with more than 5+ years of experience,

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support and System Administration:
• Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and administer server infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and security.
• Manage network devices and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure reliable network performance.
• Web Development and Design:
• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications using front-end and back-end technologies.
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Implement responsive design techniques to ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Database Management:
• Develop and maintain databases to support web applications, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Optimize database performance and scalability to accommodate growing user demands.
• Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect web applications and databases from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Stay updated on security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
• Collaboration and Project Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Manage web development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Communicate project status updates and milestones to relevant stakeholders.
• User Training and Documentation:
• Provide training and documentation to end-users on web-based applications and content management systems.
• Develop user guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CIW, Zend Certified PHP Engineer) preferred.
• Proven experience in IT support, system administration, and web development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end frameworks (PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with web development frameworks and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with web security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
