The purpose of this role is to providestrategic and operational leadership, direction and senioroversight, to all aspects of the organization and delivery of care,clinical services and hospital administration.

The CEO shall sethospital objectives and ensure entity compliance with establishedHMC objectives, strategic plans, quality and operational targets,corporate policies and long-range goals; collaborate at group andsystem level in planning for service provision, clinicalintegration and quality improvement and is responsible for managinginformation, exchange and interaction between the hospital andsenior management of HMC.

Key Accountabilities

  • WithinHMC's overall strategic plan, develop strategic andoperational plans for the hospital that incorporate short, and longterm goals, for all services provided.
  • Providesleadership, direction and decision-making support for hospitaldepartments.
  • Assure the sound fiscal operation of theinstitution including the timely accurate, and comprehensivedevelopment of an annual budget and its implementation. EssentialJob Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plusmaster's degree
  • Currently working as CEO in alarge bed hospital
  • 13 years'experience in healthcare or other similar large organization out ofwhich 5 years in a leadership role. HMC collaborates with key partners who are experts in Qatar andbeyond including Weill Cornell Medicine (Qatar), the Institute forHealthcare Improvement and Partners Healthcare, Boston.
